Referral Process - So How Do You Refer?
We are insightful enough to know that the referral process can
be frustrating and time consuming for all involved. At Riverdale we aim to keep
the referral process as succinct as possible, ensuring all the information is
accessible to enable the referring agency to make an in-depth and speedy
response to each request received.
Once we receive authorisation from the referring agency to proceed, we contact the client and family to arrange to visit the Clinic to discuss the treatment plan in more detail. We then arrange an assessment with our Consultant and subsequent admission if deemed appropriate.
A requirement of out integrated pathway is that we provide the NHS organisations with regular written reports. At Riverdale the information is processed monthly, containing multidisciplinary opinions and statistical data. We will also hold regular review meetings and any practitioner involved from the NHS organisation is encouraged to attend.
